Visit to WP

The boys and I took a day trip to see Grandaddy Hunter and Mama J in Wills Point. Raiden got to meet his Great Aunt Jo and Great Uncle Ernie for the 1st time. Ramsey enjoyed playing with Aunt Jo's shoes and loved Mama J's china cabinet. He found bubble wrap in the bottom cabinet. Crawling on the floor under the dining table was also a fun treat for him. Raiden said his hello's to the family and dozed off for a nap with Aunt Jo after taking a bottle with Grandaddy Hunter.

Father's Day: Friday

We began our Father's Day weekend of celebration on Friday. I asked Shaun to take a PTO day. The boys and I surprised him with an hour accupuncture treatment (sounds crazy I know, but he has REALLY been wanting to do this for a long time and he was SOOOO excited) that morning. We dropped him off, only telling him what he was doing a few minutes before our arrival. We then went to purchase him a special treat...carrot cake...his favorite. Once we picked him up we had lunch at a sandwhich shop and Ramsey played footsies with Mommy while Daddy just soaked up his "family time". Afterwards we took the boys to a little water fountain park where Shaun got his workout chasing Ram around. Ramsey LOVES the water. Raiden, on the other hand, prefers only to get his feet wet and then he'd rather go to sleep. It was a fun day....we watched a movie that night and just relished in the fact that we have such a great family and are blessed beyond measure.

Father's Day: Saturday

On Saturday, we went out on the town browsing and window shopping. The boys gave Daddy 2 new trendy shirts and a special book with pictures in it of them and their Daddy. We ate at The Purple Cow and watched a dancing lighted fountain show that evening.

Father's Day: Sunday

On Sunday (Father's Day) Raiden and I woke up early to start laundry and begin making daddy a pancake breakfast. Ram soon joined us and we let Daddy sleep in til 9:45am. Ramsey helped finish up Dad's laundry so we could go to the pool after breakfast. Ramsey gave Daddy his final gift...a special picture that he colored that said "Happy Father's Day".
