I'm now a little over 6 months pregnant (25 weeks). I'm back in school and survived my 1st week in the classroom, but not without swollen feet and a very tired body at the end of the day. My kindergarten kids keep me active and "on my toes" all day but I've still managed to find the energy to "tooty-ta dance" and roll around on the floor during the day--though my movements aren't quite as quick (LOL!). I love my job....and Ram seems to enjoy hearing my voice throughout the day b/c he kicks and moves around on a consistent basis. When I lift my shirt and lay down, I'm able to see him nudging around in my belly, especially in the evenings. Shaun loves to touch my tummy and feel Ram kickbox.
My mom and dad recently celebrated their 60th bdays. Coincidentally, they both have the exact same birthday. My stepmom and I planned a surprise party for my father and the theme of the party was "He's Older Than Dirt". Shaun and I took my mom out to eat and spent the weekend with her to celebrate her special day.
My parents gave Shaun and I an early baby shower gift (It is so cool! Thanks Mom & Dad--very sweet of you.). They gave us Ramsey's carseat and stroller combo (see picture of Shaun putting it together) and another friend of the family gave us his little bouncer and a cute bib (Thanks Walt and Bunny!). Shaun's parents purchased the mattress for Ramsey's crib (Thank You, Thank You!) so we're slowly but surely making progress on the preparation of his arrival in a few short months.
Shaun and I are signed up to take our Lamaze classes and will begin on Sept 7th. Our next doctor's appointment is on Sept 10th and we get to have another sonogram of Ramsey at that visit. We're both eager to see what the little stinker looks like now....so more updates to come after the 10th. Until then, thanks for keeping up with us.
Much Love....Penny, Shaun, & Ramsey

Looks like your parents each had a great 60th birthday. Love the shirts.
It won't be long and Mr. Ramsey will be here. Get all your sleep in now!
Love you, Aly
